King Saud University has achieved in recent years a number of strategic projects, scientific and practical achievements. First of them university's smart city project, which represents the promising future of the University and everything related to the smart cities technologies and sustainable development. Smart City project aims to contribute to the building of a knowledge community. This project includes smart classrooms technologies and educational Studios, Visual communication classes and participation system in lectures, and Digital Studio, educational auditoriums, distance administration system for classes. Electronic portal for e- learning, data center for e-learning, and information booths and electronic lockers.

       The vice deanship of  technical and technological affairs specializes in the implementation of accredited policies and programs in the fields of technical  and technological Affairs , as well as achieving specific objectives.
