Designing Digital Content Project
Development of e- content process that includes industry, publication and distribution represents one of the main projects that adopted by King Saud University to support knowledge economy. Moreover, Deanship of e-learning and distance learning provides set of suitable development tools to assist faculty members to improve their courses.
Project Objective
The main objective of this initiative is providing an appropriate environment for faculty members to develop digital content of their courses to achieve the objectives of e-learning Deanship strategy, by providing the following
1-Quick and easy tools to develop digital content to provide outputs compatible with technical standards for digital course and it's methods displayed by Learning Management Systems.
2-Training services on using these tools includes principles and basics of instructional design.
3- Technical support for faculty members to help them develop their digital courses together.
4-The best solutions to suit the objectives of the project and the size of King Saud University.
Project Range
1. Providing tools to develop digital content (5 tools).
2. Providing training services (instructional design, development tools).
3. Providing support services and technical support.
